I'm happy that people of California actually have some brains & balls (a narrow margin of us, but majority nevertheless). We said Yes to Prop 8 and with that said no to any more rights to sexual perversion known as homosexuality.
Instead of foaming at the mouth and insisting on civil rights, let's look at what homosexuality is. It's when two people of same sex have sex. From a biological perspective this does not make sense. Penis is designed to go into a vagina, not the rectum. Two vaginas also don't really make sense when you think about sex. So as a simple human beings, our bodies don't have physical attributes that would allow for a homosexual sex. If society would go homosexual, we would completely seize existing (artificial insemination aside). So biology alone speaks for itself.
Also when talking about the issue, we're talking only about sex, not anything more. So why do the rights even come into play? Are people who are into sado-masochism & sexual domination asking for more rights?
Marriage is an institution for a people to get together and have a family, procreate. Why would gays care about that now? Bad enough they got everything else: tolerance, acceptance, civil unions. The "gay movement" gone as far as to prohibit kids from calling their parents "mom & dad" in school. Now they want the marriage. So being in what we may call a democracy, we put the issue to a vote. Majority of Californians said that only a marriage between a man and a woman should be legal & recognized in our state. 'Nuff said.
